This is one of my favourite recipes to make for health & vitality yumminess.
So often, jams are made with white and processed sugars. So it’s so nice to reclaim such an easy recipe with simple, nutritious wholefoods!
2 cups fresh berries. i.e. strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or mixed berries
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup pitted dates
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or powder
Pinch sea salt ( optional )
- Blend/process ingredients
- Add to sterile jar
- Store in refrigerator
If only frozen berries are available to you, add blended ingredients to cooking pot and simmer on low until ingredients are defrosted.

On toast with a little coconut oil / On toast with macadamia butter or avocado, or both! / With chia pudding / On bircher muesli or coconut yogurt
